  • The chance to make the lives of those within your community a little brighter

02

What we are looking for?

  • Personal qualities – we require caring, trustworthy, compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic people who want to improve the lives of others.
  • Flexibility – the needs of our clients can often change, we need people who are able to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
  • Transport – we need carers with a driving license and access to their own vehicle.
  • Experience is desirable but not essential – we look for individuals who genuinely care

03

Staffing

We recruit staff who show an empathetic attitude, compassion for others, and desire to promote independence, choice, and control while supporting young people and older people.

We undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Checks (DBS) (previously Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks) and follow a comprehensive recruitment procedure before employing staff.

For staff who may not have suitable qualifications, we support them to enroll in RQF Diploma in Health and Social Care or other suitable qualifications, following their recruitment.

We firmly believe that it is important to find out if our prospective staff are passionate about working with you - our service users - in a personalised way. We believe that relevant qualifications do matter but it does not mean anything if a person does not have the right attitude toward care and support for vulnerable people. We offer good career progression within our organisation.

04

Training

Training is a key aspect for creating a confident workforce. All our staff (including non-care staff) undertake the Care Certificate training when recruited to the job and following an annual training needs analysis, are provided with refresher training. Staff are supported to pursue the new RQF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

All our support workers have annual appraisals together with ongoing supervisions and training to include specialist needs.
